Before heading off to Oregon for the upcoming International Association for Society and Natural Resources (IASNR) conference, members of the Lamm Lab enjoyed a well-earned day of exploration following their presentations at the Association for Communication Excellence (ACE ) Conference in Montana!
Gracie spent the day in Yellowstone National Park with her parents, who traveled from Georgia to Montana to watch her present her research. Together, they visited iconic landmarks including Mammoth Hot Springs and Old Faithful Geyser, while also spotting elk and bison roaming throughout the park.
Meanwhile, Michael and Dennis enjoyed a visit to the Billings Zoo, where they spent the day observing a variety of animal species and taking in the sights of Billings, Montana.
Once in Oregon, Gracie, Michael, and Dennis spent a day visiting Nye Beach in Newport to see the Pacific Ocean before the IASNR conference began the next day. They have presentations they look forward to sharing during the conference.
