Biography
Olivia Erskine served as a graduate assistant in the Lamm Lab from 2022-2024. She earned her M.A.E.E. in science communication at the University of Georgia in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication. Her master’s research focused on science communication, climate-smart adaptations in community gardens, and water conservation. She received her B.S. from Clemson University in 2020 in environmental and natural resources with a concentration in natural resources and economic policy. She worked as an undergraduate student researcher at Clemson University studying aquaponics, urban farming, and biomechanics.
Research Interests
Olivia is interested in researching environmental justice, science communication, and sustainability.
Current Projects
Olivia’s thesis work explored how community garden coordinators and participants perceive and adopt climate-smart adaptations in their gardens.
