The Lamm Lab engages in interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary projects to bring the human dimension to the forefront of scientific innovation addressing agricultural and environmental issues. We use research findings to inform future scientific endeavors, science communication efforts, and encourage the adoption of new best management practices, technologies and innovations through extension and outreach efforts. The issues our research addresses are vast and wide including new ways to grow food, climate change, water quality, water quantity, health and wellness, sustainability, soil degradation, food security, food waste, food access, invasive species management, integrated pest management and many more. We also evaluate the impacts of agricultural, health and wellness, and environmental interventions to assist teams in making adjustments to their work, to clearly articulate impact, and to inform the way teams communicate their impact to the broader academic community, stakeholders, and the public.
