Please help us celebrate Tata Markosyan‘s successful defense of her comprehensive exams. Her committee, chaired by Dr. Alexa Lamm and made up of Dr. Kevan Lamm, Dr. Peng Lu, and Dr. Katie Sanders (of NCSU) passed her with flying colors. Tata plans to engage in dissertation research exploring how we best capture and communicate evaluation data using diverse foms of data visualization to ensure data-driven decision making. She plans to use a conceptual framework combining audience segmentation, sociolinguistics, and utilization-focused evaluation to support her mixed-methods study over the next year.
