A huge congratulations to Kristin Gibson, who is now a doctoral candidate and ABD. She had an amazing proposal defense today, with advanced research that combines environmental education and science communication research in new and innovative ways to assist us in combatting the plastic crisis. Specifically, she will be examining U.S. perceptions regarding single-use plastic water bottles and how we can intervene with targeted messaging to influence attitudes and behaviors to reduce use. A big thank you to her doctoral committee Dr. Kevan Lamm, Dr. Jessica Holt, and Dr. Kyle Woosnam.
