As the 5-year Healthier Together CDC-funded project comes to an end next month, the effect of the partnership between UGA’s College of Public Health, College of Family and Consumer Sciences, College of Environment and Design and College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (more specifically UGA Extension) is still having impact. Proud to have led the communication efforts for the project the last two years with Kristin Gibson and the evaluation of the project all five years with Catherine Sanders and Tata Markosyan.

The project dramatically impacted the health of rural residents in five counties in SW and NE Georgia and is now having an impact in the academic literature.
