On March 17th, 2022, Katie Sanders and Alexa Lamm traveled to Stewart County, Georgia to deliver the results of the UGA ALEC Evaluation team’s report for the 2020-2021 year. Sanders presented a discussion of the successes of the project as reported by members of the Healthier Together Stewart Coalition during listening sessions in 2021. Sanders and Lamm then conducted a visioning session, where community members explained what they wished to see come from the project in its fourth year (2022-2023).
Overall, coalition members reported successful work days in the Richland Garden, new garden signage implemented, and increase physical activity in the community as a result of walking signage placed in the county, describing the walking distances between every day community destinations.
