Kristin Gibson is the graduate student in the Lamm Lab striving to assist the Healthier Together project in communicating as effectively as possible. She coordinates social media, promotes all aspects of project branding, assists with the community newsletter, and writes press releases so the greater academic and Georgia community hears about all the wonderful things happening as a part of this project.
Her recent press release, detailing the collaborations with the UGA College of Environment and Design, has been picked up and shared by UGA Today and beyond. Thanks to her hard work communicating the solid foundational achievements of this team, the Healthier Together project was highlighted in the Center for Disease Control’s Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity The Insider, as a Win from the Field in their August issue.
