On the last day of this excursion I was more than excited to return home. All that Costa Rica had to offer was fully engrossed within me. From the vast blue oceans and rivers to the green forested and mountainous terrains to the plethora of wildlife species I was overwhelm and homesick. Three weeks tends…

Some may think that I am a strategic planner because I have created a four year plan for my undergraduate college career. When I created this plan, I failed to include any study abroad program on my plan. The opportunity came before me at a MANNRS Club meeting, and that changed my life. I never…

To many the idea of leaving your home country and traveling overseas may first seem frightening. The thought of being in a new place surrounded by new people and a culture far from your own can make some uneasy. This may cause feelings of anxiety and you might contemplate on quitting the expenditure altogether. However,…

The purpose of the Avian Biology study abroad program was to invite students to not only gain a new cultural experience in multi-diverse world but to place us into the heart of the country itself and indulge in the wildlife around us. Allowing us to see these marvelous creatures in their natural habitats. Learning about…

Since my internship abroad lasts 8 weeks, I won’t be home in time to blog about what life at home, post-abroad experience is like. Instead I decided to blog about where I am at now. Tomorrow marks the first day of my fourth week, which means I am halfway done. For me this experience thus…
