As the new school year begins, I continue to reminisce about the amazing two weeks I spent and Greece and how I wish I could be going back there. Don’t get me wrong, Athens, Georgia is amazing! But, I would give just about anything in order to study a full semester in Thessaloniki. I would […]

France is more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. It is a little difficult to navigate due to the language barrier, but everyone here has been very friendly towards us and have tried to accommodate us the best they can. There is so much history in every town that we have visited and I […]

A friend and I arrived in Italy one day early and spent the night in Ostia, a town on the beach near Rome. The hostel we stayed at was only minutes from the water, and it was so relaxing! Having an extra night to adjust to the time zone was definitely very helpful when we […]

The city of Cortona is situated on a mountain with our school buildings located near the top. It makes for quite the hike back up but fortunately there’s a beautiful stopping point overlooking the valley where everyone takes a break. The view from our room in the Kehoe Center also made the climb worthwhile as […]

A major part of the Viticulture & Enology Maymester is visiting vineyards and wineries to see how the wines are made and hear about each place’s agricultural practices. Looking back on this program, I would say that these field trips were truly an essential and enlightening part of the trip for anyone looking to go […]
