Peanut Industry in Favor of New USDA Peanut Rules

On Jan. 19, 2016, the USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) published a new proposed rule in the Federal Register to revise the minimum quality and handling standards for domestic and imported peanuts marketed in the U.S.  Click here for more details.

Georgia Peanut Farm Show and Conference provides a day of education for peanut farmers

More than 1,400 attendees were able to fine-tune their farming operations with information gained at the 40th annual Georgia Peanut Farm Show and Conference on Jan. 21, 2016, at the University of Georgia Tifton Campus Conference Center in Tifton, Georgia.
