They always say there is a first time for everything, and this trip was definitely full of firsts for me! Although I was not nervous in the days leading up to the trip, when I woke up the day we were supposed to leave the United States, the nerves started to rush over me. I…

    Morgan Lee

    July 3, 2023

During my study abroad Maymester program in Morocco, one of my favorite times was the days that we explored the Sahara desert. Ever since I was little, I have been absolutely fascinated by desert landscapes, reading about them, watching movies or shows set in deserts, documentaries, you name it. With that in mind, I was…

    July 3, 2023

This photo was taken at Keukenhof, the largest tulip producer in the world. This was our first stop on our trip, arriving directly after our flight landed at 6 AM. A nine-hour overnight flight comes with several challenges, some of which I was not expecting. Before this experience, the longest I had ever flown was…

    Alison Bennett

    July 3, 2023

This photo was taken in Antwerp, Belgium at a park right around the block from our hotel. If you look closely, you can see people using this rock structure to practice their rock climbing skills. Just out of frame, people lay in the non-manicured grass scape and chat with friends, play music, or read a…

    Kierstin Smith

    July 3, 2023

Words cannot begin to describe how amazing this trip was or how much fun I had, but before I focus on the trip I want to talk about pre-departure to show how this was a very exciting (but also very nerve wracking) time of my life. For background, I am a summer 2023 graduate, so…
