I can’t believe the time has come for me to pack my bags, and tomorrow, I leave for an unforgettable experience in the country of Uruguay. I will be completing an internship in Montevideo, Uruguay for 10 weeks and I’m feeling many emotions. I’m excited to learn about the culture and the people of Uruguay, but I’m also nervous for the unknown. However, this nervousness reminds me that I am pursuing something that I actually love and want to do for the rest of my life. Knowing this, I am comforted. I’m sure many life lessons and skills will be grasped from my time abroad, so bring it on, Uruguay. I am ready for the internship of a lifetime!
