This was definitely the most exciting thing for me. I can now say that I celebrated my 20th birthday by watching the sunset on the Eiffel Tower. I’ve never had such an exploratory birthday where we walked around Paris for around 10 miles and saw the most amazing views! We started my birthday off by going to the Louvre Museum where we went through the whole museum within 5 hours. This was especially a hard task because of how ginormous this museum was. Granted, we did end up doing a fast walk and took some walking pictures, but we did do it! After,  we went to Jim Morrison’s grave in Pere Lachaise Cemetery which is one of the largest cemeteries in London. When in Paris, of course we would try the food. We all tried our first macaroon and they were DELICIOUS. This was a jam packed day we were having and it was only 7pm! We headed over to the Eiffel Tower to have the most amazing views and to see Paris in all it’s beauty. By the time we got down from the Eiffel Tower, it was 11:30pm and we haven’t eaten dinner yet! Needless to say we ate at midnight and got back to the hotel around 2am. This was by far the most amazing birthday I’ve ever had because I know without this study abroad, I would never have found the most amazing people and had the most amazing experiences. I am so appreciative of this study abroad because it has changed me for the better and has opened my eyes to something new.
