The UGCA continues to acquire and maintain voucher specimens documenting arthropod research undertaken at the University of Georgia and other institutions. Researchers may request voucher labels to affix to specimens prior to deposition in the UGCA. Please contact the UGCA staff to arrange preprinted voucher labels. Alternatively, researchers could make their own voucher labels by using the following label format in black print on yellow label paper:
Line 1: word “VOUCHER” in bold, capital letters.
Line 2: Taxonomic determination, determiner and date.
Line 3 and subsequent lines: citation of paper, thesis, dissertation or project.
