A mixture of anxiety and excitement overwhelm me, but mostly excitement. Will I forget to pack something? What if I lose my passport? Am I going to make any friends? These thoughts whirl around my head, but they are immediately overcome with eagerness. This is my first time ever going to South America, and I cannot wait for the memories and friends I am about to make. I am very excited to surround myself with the culture, food, and people of Uruguay. I know this week will fly by, and I know I will never forget this experience.
