The time is finally here! I leave for France tomorrow! Between finals and wrapping up spring semester this trip kind of snuck up on me. Words cannot describe how excited I am for this trip. I am mostly interested in seeing the different forms of agriculture that this trip has to offer. Ever since I began college my parents told me to go out and experience new things. I have been away from home for an extended period of time and I see that being out of the country will allow me to grow as a student. One of the things that I am anxious about is the language barrier. I know that there will be many people we meet that can speak English, however, I feel this could be a difficulty in some parts of the trip. In order to combat this I have brushed up on some French terms and phrases, so that while I’m in France I can build my French vocabulary. I look forward to posting more on this blog about my trip!
