In 24 hours I will be on an airplane on my way to France. This will be my first time traveling to Europe. In addition, it is the first time I travel somewhere out of my comfort zone. For example, family vacations have been to my hometown of Mexico or to the beach. However, this time I will not have my family to rely and I won’t be fluent in the local language. On the other hand I am excited to do something I never would’ve thought possible at the beginning of the semester. The itinerary is booked with 12 hour long days which include lectures and field trips almost every day. This is what interests me the most because it ensures we are not trapped in a classroom learning things we could’ve learned in Athens. Instead we will be able to submerge ourselves in Western European Agriculture hands on by learning through our field trips. It also ensures I also get to see the most of the beautiful country side that France has to offer.

Au revoir!
