Today marks T-1 day until my flight leaves for Italy, and I am both excited and anxious about the journey that lies ahead of me! Traveling to new countries can also be nerve-racking, especially when you know very little of the native language that they speak. Having never taken Italian in my life, this fear has only been heightened the past few days leading up to my departure. One way I have eased my worries is by looking up works that related to traveling, common signs, and common phrases, and writing them down in an easy to access place. This allows me to always know at least some words in order seem less like a foreigner. Hopefully this helps anyone having the same worries that I am having!
