Curious About Costa Rica

I have never been outside of the country before. None of my family has. When I first approached my mom and dad about this amazing opportunity, I was equally as skeptical as they were. Many thoughts were rushing through my mind: Could we afford this? Would I enjoy leaving my life for 20 days? How will this affect me? Will I regret this decision? But now, waiting to land in San Jose, I feel nothing but excitement. I am ready to immerse myself into this beautiful culture. I am ready to push my own limits and conquer the challenges I will face. For those of you reading this, questioning if you should complete a study abroad, I wholeheartedly encourage you to do so. Mine has not even begun but I know this adventure is one I will remember for a lifetime.
