Coming home from Costa Rica was a very bittersweet moment. I enjoyed this Study Abroad trip so much and loved all the many experiences I was able to have. However, once I knew it was close to time to going home, I knew I was ready. I was excited to get back to the States to see my family, have air conditioning and start my next journey. I was able to learn so much on this trip that will stick with me forever. Saying goodbye to everyone was the hardest part of the trip, especially our bus driver Patron. We had one last dinner with our tour guides and each other. Returning home was not hard at all. The only problem I had was getting used to American food again after eating very plain and basic meals in Costa Rica. I am so thankful for the opportunity to take this trip to Costa Rica. I would strongly recommend this trip to those who are strong minded and tough. I am thankful for our professor, teaching assistant and all of those who shared their homes and country with us in Costa Rica.
