The scenery is gorgeous! I have never seen something so green before! We have been here a few days but have experienced so much in those few days. First of all, the meals here are bigger than back in the states. They seem to believe in three course meals everyday and not just at fancy restaurants. I have also had the most delicious burgers in my life here. I may never go back home.
The people here are so friendly. I have always heard that Scottish people were some of the nicest people you will meet. That was confirmed the past few days. We had the opportunity to go to the beach and take so many pictures that it hurts. I have fallen in love with Scotland, and working with the students at Troqueer school is going to be an exciting time. They are already excited to see us. I can not wait to see what the rest of the trip has in store for us!
