This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to work for Aragón Exterior in Zaragoza, Spain under the great leadership of Sofía González. Aragón Exterior is a marketing corporation that specifically markets the goods created in Aragón, Spain. I was working with Sofía and her marketing team to market the Grenache wine variety to the United States, Europe, and Asia. These grapes are the 7th most grown variety in the world and are native to Aragón, Spain and some of France. Wines processed from Garnacha/Grenache grapes are not only delicious, but they are affordable. By providing consumers with an expensive taste at low cost, Garnacha/Grenache wines ensure customer satisfaction without breaking the bank. These wines are underrated across the world, but Garnacha/Grenache wine vineyards are recognized in Europe by producing millions of hectoliters of delicious wine each year. My daily duties consisted of everything from writing blog posts, to creating advertisement graphics within the adobe programs, to even attending a day-long photo shoot in La Roja, Spain. The office was filled with some of the most intelligent and kind women I have ever met. To have spent the summer working in an office filled with such accomplished women inspires me to think of what all I can do when I graduate.
