The Greek temples that I was able to witness, located in a small town in Italy called Paestum, were breathtaking. These ruins are one of the most well preserved architectural structures in the world. There are three temples standing, and the one that I am standing in front of is the Temple of Hera II, which was constructed in 460 BCE and is the largest of the three. It was amazing to witness such ancient structures that were so grand and architecturally impressive! It was almost unbelievable that I was able to witness the most well preserved ancient Greek temples while never setting foot in Greece.
