While this picture is a bit blurry because it was taken on a four hour bus ride, it was one of the most important observations from the trip. Going to Scotland I had images of rolling hills and sheep but not much else. I didn’t realize that the country was more diverse than it always seems to be in images on the internet or TV. On our train rides and bus rides we saw coast, cliffs, snow, mountains, castles, cities, small towns, and a LOT of farmland. Coming from Georgia, it was no surprise to see different landscapes, but I didn’t know that a country that is half the size of our state could hold a similar diversity of environment. Being able to compare our state to Scotland was one of the most enjoyable part of the trips. I sincerely hope to return within the coming years to visit the friends that were made while being an #agdawgabroad !
