During the week we all spent in Uruguay we had a few meals where we were on our own and we could go eat where ever we wanted. This also meant that you had to order your food on your own, unlike the other meals where Bruno was there to do it for you. On Sunday we went to the mall and exchanged our US dollars to Uruguayan pesos and afterwards a group of us decided to try this small restaurant  out near the hotel. When we first walked in we decided to split up into different tables just to make things easier for the waiter so about eight people sat at one table and four of us sat at another table not far away. The waiter came and took our drink orders which went fairly smoothly since we just ordered water but when he returned to take our food orders things got interesting. The four of us took what little knowledge we shared of the Spanish language and put it all together to try and determine what we all wanted to eat and I finally came to the conclusion that I was going to order a meal which consisted of two hotdogs and fries. When the waiter asked me what I wanted I pointed to the item on the menu and tried my best to pronounce it right and he seemed to understand so I thought everything was settled. When he returned I was given a plate with two bare hotdogs with no condiments and no buns with a side of fries. It was slightly disappointing but mostly humorous.
