I want to help students show their best selves when representing that value to potential employers. As a result, I’ve partnered with Dr. Julie Mizell and the staff at Southeast Bulloch High School (SEB) to establish a Career Closet that will equip students with the confidence to enter the workforce after graduation. The Career Closet at SEB will be geared primarily towards CTAE students and those students who will be seeking employment, internship, or apprenticeship opportunities following graduation. The Career Closet will allow students to select and keep professional clothing that can become the “base” of a professional wardrobe. We are also working on speaking engagements to inspire and better prepare students for how they can be “Ready to Launch” with intentionality into the next phase of life.

“The heart of my project is to see students succeed and know that each of them matters and brings a special value to the world regardless of whether or not they attend or graduate from a traditional 4-year college.”
