Moving Away from the Art of Cotton Ginning and onto the Science
There has always been a person who has been in charge of setting, monitoring, and adjusting the machines in a cotton gin. As labor continues to be a difficulty in agriculture, and skilled labor has become nonexistent, there is a need to shift to a machine that can do the same job better, faster, and cheaper. Implementing the science of full automation and AI into cotton gins could result in better cotton ginning at a cheaper price.
