Rural GA Reach: Bridging the Digital Divide
The Rural GA Reach initiative addresses a critical gap in rural connectivity by deploying 25 mobile high-speed internet units with two years of service to agricultural and disaster-prone regions of Georgia. These units will serve as vital lifelines, particularly in the wake of natural disasters when traditional communication infrastructure may be compromised or unavailable. I managed the marketing aspect of this project which involved formulating the project’s name, our three pillars, and talking points, as well as, creating the logo and designing the flyers to support the fundraising group.
“The potential impacts of this project align with our three fundamental pillars: 1. Connected in Care – Providing vital health access for people and animals in remote areas 2. Connected in Crisis – Enabling rapid deployment of mobile units when disaster strikes 3. Connected in Knowledge – Supporting digital literacy, training, and community farm demonstrations.”
