Georgia Grown DVM
I am developing a certificate program to integrate into the existing DVM program. This educational and professional development program will give UGA students skills to have a more sustainable and successful career while staying in GA to practice veterinary medicine. This will add value to their DVM and offer practices across the state to recruit talent that will be more informed and potentially more suited for careers in their area of the state.
“My goal is to create a certificate program for UGA CVM to increase DVM retention for practicing veterinarians in GA. The certificate will add value to the DVM students education, increase their awareness of ag and vet med in the state of Georgia, create networks for long term sustainable careers within the state of Georgia for talented DVMs..”
Anna is also a part of the AGL Class 2025-2026 Group Project Rural GA Reach.
