Undergraduate Students

There are various positions throughout the year for undergraduate students registered at UGA and other institutions. We hire 4-5 students per semester to assist with research in the laboratory, greenhouse and field. If you are interested in these opportunities, please contact Dr. Chavez.
Graduate Student Positions
Position availability: Applications throughout the year
MS and PhD students are encouraged to apply to our graduate programs at the Department of Horticulture and the Institute of Plant Breeding, Genetics and Genomics. Assistantships are available on a competitive basis to exceptional applicants. Interested parties should contact Dr. Chavez and provide a Statement of Purpose, GRE (if available), GPA, and TOEFL (international students).
