Our Young Scholar, Henry Vencill returned to the lab in the summer of 2017 to conduct research as part of the Young Scholar Program. In this program, high school student have the opportunity to sharpen their lab skills and present their findings. Henry’s project focused on determining the regulators of P. syringae pv. tomato effector hopAH2-1 during Pattern Triggered Immunity. Henry placed second in the oral presentation session in Athens!
