Congratulations to two PMIL students in the University of Georgia College of Public Health Environmental Health Science program who took home top awards for their research.
Amanda Seawright, a master’s student, won first place in recent awards from her college for work titled “Current Status of Aflatoxin B1 Contamination in Grains and Peanuts Grown in the State of Georgia, USA.”
PhD student Kathy Xue took third for “Validation of Dried Blood Spot Method for Detection of Aflatoxin B1-Lysine Adduct in Animals and Humans.”
