North Carolina State University has announced an opening in their Department of Crop and Soil Sciences for a peanut breeder. The 12-month, tenure-track position is for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Plant Breeding and will be 75 percent research, 25 percent teaching. Salary is commensurate with training and experience.
The position comes open as Dr. Tom Isleib plans to retire in spring 2018. The new breeder will be able to work with Isleib and benefit from his knowledge prior to his retirement.
