The KDAD “Scaling Innovations through Video” will provide competitively awarded grants to Feed the Future Innovation Labs to document innovative and new agricultural techniques through video. The purpose of this competition is to generate “how-to” videos pertaining to a process or agricultural technique or technology. Key objectives of this competition are:

  • Develop or expand the capacity of Innovation Labs, using video to communicate technical knowledge to other researchers and implementing partners;
  • Showcase knowledge and/or process or processes pertaining to a new agricultural technique or technology;
  • Connect researchers to USAID practitioners, helping to scale transferable knowledge.

The main audiences for these videos are the research and development community as well as USAID Missions and their implementing partners, and Feed the Future Innovation Labs and other Feed the Future collaborators such as USAID’s Higher Education Solutions Network (HESN).
