Hello, I am Anne Stalvey from Valdosta, Georgia. I will be starting the master’s program in the fall of 2024 and will be joining Dr. Joseph’s lab to study pollinators. I received my bachelor’s degree from Valdosta State University in Biology with a minor in Environmental Science. During my undergraduate I worked in the VSU West Nile Virus Mosquito Surveillance lab. I started as a mosquito identification technician and later directed the lab, founding my love for insects. While mosquitos are a part of my background, I have always had an interest for pollinators, and I am excited to be working with them for my masters. In my free time I enjoy music, books, and my cat, Mr. Sunshine.
