Rick Brandenburg, who leads the Southern Africa Value Chain project for PMIL, recently was recognized by North Carolina State University International Affairs at the Global Engagement Exposition. The event recognizes individuals across the university in four categories and includes presentations focused on global research and scholarly programs.
Congratulations to Dr. Brandenburg, seen here with Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Warwick A. Arden.
Brandenburg, an entomologist at NCSU specializing in peanuts and commercial turf, took home the Jackson Rigney International Service Award, which recognizes contributions of a faculty or staff member for the promotion of international understanding and service to the university and international community. The award honors the late Dr. Rigney, an agronomist who served NC State for 40 years bringing a global perspective to his life and work.
