The American Peanut Education and Research Society (APRES) will accept nominations for the Dow AgroSciences Awards through May 1. The committee will nominate one member for Excellence in Education and one member for Excellence in Research.
To nominate someone, fill out AgroSciences Awards nomination form and submit a letter summarizing the significant professional achievements and their impact on the peanut industry. Three supporting letters must be submitted with the nomination. Supporting letters may be no more than one page in length.
Nominations should be postmarked by May 1 and mailed to the committee chair, Kelly Chamberlin (kelly.chamberlin@ars.usda.gov).
Unsuccessful nominations will be reconsidered the following year and nominators will be contacted and given the opportunity to provide a letter that updates the nomination. After the second year, a new nomination package is required.
