African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD) is seeking interns to study gender responsive agriculture (GRA) in general and particularly within agricultural research and development.
The unpaid internship will be two to three calendar months with flexible start and end dates. Opportunities may be available for both spring and summer 2016.
The research associate will be encouraged and supported to publish from the data, and may receive academic credit.
Interested students should be working toward a master’s or PhD, have experience and interest in agricultural research, gender responsive agriculture and development research, as well as great communication skills and experience with data analysis with statistical software.
