Georgetown University is offering a full-tuition scholarship for students from Sub-Saharan Africa who are interested in a career in international development.

Competitive applicants should have at least one to two years of experience working in international development or a related field. All applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree prior to proposed enrollment.

The Global Human Development Program is a two-year, full-time master’s degree in international development. In addition to a skills-based curriculum, the program includes:

  • Funded two- to three-month summer field internship
  • Required semester-long internship in Washington, D.C.
  • Capstone consulting project for client of choice.

The full-tuition scholarship is made possible by the support of the William and Catherine McGurn family.

The scholarship will be awarded based on overall strength of the application. The deadline to apply is 15 January 2018.
