Regular registration will end soon for the International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC) training program, Developing Private Sector Agro-Input Markets: Designing and Implementing Targeted Input Subsidies. The training is scheduled for May 30-June 3 in Arusha, Tanzania. Regular registration of $1,650 is due by April 30 or the cost increases to $1,800.
The training is for:
- Stakeholders involved in designing or implementing targeted agro-input subsidy interventions.
- Government officials dealing with formulating and implementing agricultural input trade policies;
- Input suppliers contributing to the distribution and accessibility of agro-inputs;
- Development partners involved in agro-inputs project design and/or implementation;
- Farmers’ organizations or farmers’ representatives involved in ensuring farmer participation;
- Representatives of donor organizations funding agricultural development and private sector projects.
The program is supported by the African Union Commission’s Department of Rural Economy and Agriculture.
