The Sustainability Science Program at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, recently hosted an invitation-only workshop, “Innovation with Access to Technology for Vulnerable Farmers: The Innovation System for Drought and Water Scarcity Adaptation Technologies,” on September 10-12, 2014.
Dave Hoisington, Director of the Feed the Future Innovation Lab on Peanut Productivity and Mycotoxin Control (PMIL) was one of 25 selected experts in attendance from the academic, government, business, and civil society communities.
The discussion focused on key questions confronting innovation and access to drought, and water scarcity adaption technologies for vulnerable farmers.
Hoisington participated in the panel: What are the specific major challenges facing vulnerable farmers in adapting to drought and water scarcity?
