Nitops craigheadi (Dobson, 1972)

Diagnosis: Nitops craigheadi specimens are distinguished from other eastern North American species, except Nitops ophthalmicus, by having a ratio of eye width at the widest point in dorsal view to interocular distance at narrowest point of 1:3 or less (Fig. 2).

Distribution: Nitops craigheadi is found in Florida and also in Cuba and the West Indies.

Biology: No biological information for N. craigheadi has been published.
