Kelly’s research looks at viral gene regulation, venom, and immune factors in the beneficial virus-wasp interactions in two wasp species: Diachasmimorpha longicaudata and Microplitis demolitor.

Nicolas Furlong

Nic’s work focuses on discovering how Microplitis demolitor developmental endocrine signaling and genes have been repurposed to control the location and timing of  Microplitis demolitorbracovirus production. Nic is coadvised by Dr. Micheal Strand and Dr. Gaelen Burke.
