A while back it was announced that DuPont would be bringing back Vydate (active ingredient oxamyl). DuPont is scheduled to return to the market first with the cotton formulation and then reintroduce the vegetable formulation later in the year.
A new player in the oxamyl game is also bringing an oxamyl product to the market. Indications are that they will bring the vegetable formulation first. They received their federal label from EPA late last week. They still have to print labels, attach them to jugs, and ship those jugs to the US. At the same time, they are working on obtaining state labels. If everything runs extremely smooth, this could all happen in about two weeks. Therefore, I am hoping we will have oxamyl available within a month. Any sooner is simply icing on the cake.
