Muneeb Elahi Malik received word that his proposal titled “Development of an Autonomous Laser-Based Robotic System for Sustainable Weed Management in Vidalia Onions” was funded by the Southern Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) graduate student grants program. Graduate Student Grants allow Master’s and PhD students at accredited institutions across the Southern region to conduct research projects on a wide variety of sustainable agriculture production, marketing and social science topics.
