Dissertation research may focus on exploring biochar effects on ornamental plant physio-biochemical responses to biotic and abiotic stress (incorporated with biocontrol agents). The successful candidate will also have opportunities to conduct other collaborative researches with industry\/academic partners, be involved in extension programs, and attend regional and national conferences.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Currently, we are looking for M.S. assistantship who shares similar research interests and passion to join our team. Thesis research may focus on irrigation and nutrients impacts on plant root-microorganism interactions as well as ornamental plant growth and quality. The successful candidate will also have opportunities to conduct other collaborative researches with industry\/academic partners, be involved in extension programs, and attend regional and national conferences.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ideally the position (both Ph.D. and M.S.) will begin Fall 2023, however, the position will remain open until a viable applicant pool is determined.
