It seemed so far away, and now there&#8217;s only one very busy week keeping me from this trip.\u00a0I can&#8217;t decide if I&#8217;m nervous or not &#8211; I know my parents are. I&#8217;m apprehensive about not speaking Spanish, since that is the language spoken there, and the last time I took a Spanish class was in high school. Other than that, I think I&#8217;m just excited. I get to meet new people, as well as get to know people I don&#8217;t know very well. I get to learn about and be immersed in the process of creating my favorite drink, see the UGA Costa Rica campus (which looks amazing in pictures), go\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ziplining<\/span><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">.<\/span> <\/strong>How cool is that?? I&#8217;m also really, really excited about the weather down there, because winter has already hit here in Georgia.\u00a0I&#8217;ve already started packing, because I feel like the faster I&#8217;m ready to go, the faster it&#8217;ll come! Luckily I have a lot of the stuff we need already, so that hasn&#8217;t been too much of a stress.<\/p>\n<p>This is such an amazing opportunity that not many people have, and I&#8217;m so thankful I get to go.
