It was almost like they had decorated for Christmas insanely early. I quickly noticed how different Costa Rica was from the US. As I looked around I noticed that everything was in Spanish, a language I am not at all familiar with. I knew I would have to adjust and once I got used to asking people questions using mostly hand motions, it was fine.
