Although only a week, this program had an impact that will stay with me forever, and I will always look back upon it with the best memories. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The first week of classes after spring break went like any other week of classes, but I felt like I had changed as a person. I was working on homework with a new passion for what I was learning, and I was able to apply some of my experiences from Uruguay to my classwork. Getting to go on this trip has opened my eyes to the different things that I can do with my animal science, and I\u2019m hopeful that I will be able to return to Uruguay in the future to pursue more lessons in agriculture.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Talking to my friends and family about this trip has been so great: getting to relive the memories, telling all the funny stories, and teaching them about the differences and similarities between Uruguay and Georgia. \u00a0My family is very proud of me for going on this trip, and they\u2019re so glad that I was able to enjoy my time abroad will still learning things I\u2019m passionate about. My little sister seems the most excited about my trip, and I hope she too will get the chance to study abroad when she goes to college. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Returning to Athens has been great, but I already miss being in Uruguay. I didn\u2019t know how much this trip would truly affect my life, but it\u2019s definitely been for the best. My time abroad was one of the best things I\u2019ve ever done, and I\u2019m hoping to study abroad again before I graduate. Even if I don\u2019t get the chance to return to Uruguay, it will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will always be grateful for getting to have this once in a lifetime opportunity.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When I got off the plane in Atlanta, it still hadn\u2019t quite hit me that my time studying in Uruguay had come to an end.
